Yayoi Kusama Project

The project was to take the format of Yayoi Kusama's work and make it your own. The art style was to make a room that seemed infinite and used past experiences as inspiration for the art. The objective was to create two of these rooms one of a moment we would like to last forever and a moment we would like to obliterate into a thousand pieces.

We made four patterns, two for each room. I spent too much time on the first and never made the second room. But here are the patterns and then room I wish I could obliterate.

These two were used in the room.

These two were going to be in the room I didn't have time to make.

This is the room I was able to make. It doesn't look like much but it is what it represents that counts. What it represents is years at school from 4th to 8th grade. I was dealing with very bad Stress issues.
